After the release of TEAM WANG’s first collection COOKIES—THE ORIGINAL, half a year later, the Brand Designer & Creative Director, Jackson Wang, has launched a new bold and daring collection, TEAM WANG COOKIES—THE VELVET. The brand new COOKIES collection adopts a new element - velvet while preserving the brand’s DNA. Velvet is as soft as human skin, displaying vitality and resilience of life.
The iconic color black and the minimalist aesthetics of TEAM WANG compliment the sophisticated sleek texture of velvet, representing a new modern collection for the modern man. COOKIES—THE VELVET contributes to TEAM WANG with its iconic design elements, EYELET and metal buckles, and introduces the new brand logo metal plate as a symbol of luxury. The TEAM WANG logo design on the back employs a low-key but bold method of dark fringe embossed in relief, giving off resilience and strength alongside the gloss of soft velvet. This collection comprising of 11 unique items, part of an outerwear collection, consist of down jackets and vests, round-neck sweaters, t-shirts, handbags, fisherman hats, baseball caps, small accessories and other fashion items. The jackets and down jackets of the COOKIES collection are lined with the MONOGRAM twill design, which not only embraces more iconic elements, but define various the elements of today’s man.

In the TEAM WANG COOKIES-THE VELVET collection campaign, self-confidence and vitality are the main focus of the ideal VELVET man. The velvet that personifies the entire collection is itself a fabric full of strength and emotion, yet soft like skin. In the campaign, the invisible man wrapped in velvet pieces is confronting his own body, symbolizing the self-struggle and introspection that every official member face in the self-understanding and exploring process. Furthermore, his flexible limbs embody his resilience and fearlessness, which can adequately resist all the fatigue caused by this kind of self- analysis, and finally transforms him into his true self – a sophisticated man. This time the Concept Space theme of THE VELVET collection—“ME vs ME” is also designed to output the same concept. We hope to continuously explore the internal self through fashion and expression with our official members as our canvas. Only through this type of confrontation, can you better know yourself and“love”.

In the campaign, Invisible Man II, the highly conceptualized image created by Designer & Creative Director, Jackson Wang, in the first campaign, Invisible Man, is once again used to showcase the brand new prestigious series COOKIES—THE VELVET. The invisible man replacing the traditional model shatters the traditional prototype image as unrestrained and undefined. In this campaign more invisible men stand in TEAM WANG airport than in the first one demonstrating its grandiose scale. This new international luxury collection embodies the spirit and culture of TEAM WANG teleporting you to other places of the world through the new international COOKIES collection. It echoes the newly designed black metallic TEAM WANG brand logo representative of its creativity and sophistication, which is only expected to be enhanced by its growing community of official members, creating history.
