To pay tribute to Paris and commemorate the first appearance of Impression Sunrise in Shanghai, TEAM WANG presents TEAM WANG x MONET, our third SPARKLES capsule collection.
In the TEAM WANG x MONET SPARKLES capsule collection, we try to create a fusion between art and fashion and present the beauty of Impressionist Art from the details. The abstract print on the back of each item is our unique interpretation of Impression Sunrise. The TEAM WANG logo on the front is redesigned in gradient colour, which is typically seen in the works of Impressionist Art. In the meantime, our iconic designs such as the EYELET are remained so that the TEAM WANG DNA gets continued in this SPARKLES capsule collection.
About the campaign
Inspired by Impression Sunrise, we chose water and reflection, two essential elements from the artwork as the campaign’s main concept. When shooting the campaign, Impressionist Art’s unique understanding of light & shade was taken as an important reference. In the meantime, TEAM WANG’s iconic aesthetic was remained to help us present the items in an unique and artistic way.

Introducing TEAM WANG x MONET concept space exclusive package, a specially designed product package which will be exclusively sold in TEAM WANG x MONET concept space. The inspiration of this limited package is art albums, each package includes three independent ‘art albums’, inside which are three different items from TEAM WANG x MONET SPARKLES capsule collection.
This exclusive package will only be sold in TEAM WANG x MONET concept space, starting from October 31. There are only 500 packages available and we will not reproduce this exclusive package once it’s sold out. Please note that TEAM WANG x MONET concept space will not be selling individual items from this SPARKLES capsule collection. TEAM WANG joins the Art Exhibition of Impression Sunrise by Monet in Shanghai to forge a brand new, immersive space of artistic concept.
The inspiration of the Concept Space is originated from Impression Sunrise – the representative work of Monet and the earliest work of impressionism. To commemorate the first appearance of Impression Sunrise in Shanghai and pay tribute to Paris, Jackson Wang, the Chinese Designer & Creative Director decided to present the unique interpretation of Impression Sunrise by TEAM WANG on the wall of main visual in the Concept Space.
On the base of the impressionist style in the original painting, the port of Le Havre is substituted by the Bund of Shanghai. Its reflection in the water becomes The Eiffel Tower. The rising sun becomes the DNA of TEAM WANG which represents hope and new possibilities of which he explores and pursues relentlessly. The glowing sphere at the core position of the overall space is the artistic installation derived from the DNA of TEAM WANG for the implication of infinite hope. The transmission belt at the center of the space is designed as the shape of ∞, the symbol of infinity which echoes with the rising sun. Besides visual sense, we will also provide the immersive sensual journey which is unique for your sense of smell and hearing to help you feel the artistic charm of Monet and unique aesthetics of TEAM WANG in all directions.
